Aruo, the dragon girl from the East China Sea, is determined to find her beloved, and comes to the mortal Wang Sheng at all costs. However, the fox demon Xiaoman wants to get the most precious spiritual leaf from the dragon girl, and designs to break Wang Sheng's heart. Aruo has no choice but to use Lingye made up for Wang Sheng's heart, so the two women started a "heart-stealing" contest with Wang Sheng as the center.

Facing an unacceptable reality, a teacher is trying to reclaim relationships with his family, students and former friends. Reassessing his past, he contemplates how to go on with his life.

When the world is hit with a naturally occuring virus that spreads among all living things, humans begin to turn into insatiable zombies. In a blink, the world as we know it collapses. Furthermore, the few remaining survivors are unable to use the available food resources. They therefore develop a new crop to support themselves. Survivors depend on one profession, their only hope; someone in this profession must brave the dangers to send and recieve food and packages of necessities. These people are called Riders.

Kanetaka Shogo is an ex-cop who infiltrates the mob to get payback for a murder.

Pil Yong has been forever a lowly public official of 7th grade in Jeonju, South Korea.

3 years ago his wife Hyo Kyung collapsed of a cerebral infarction largely due to him. Pil Yong took his son to a relative and now takes care of his wife who has difficulty in moving. Pil Yong wants to be promoted to a deputy director in the higher 5th grade before he retires.

Pil Yong finds out that his new boss is interested in hanji (traditional Korea paper). Because of this, Pil Yong transfers to the hanji department.

Meanwhile, documentary filmmaker Ji Won shoots a documentary about hanji. To make her documentary, Ji Won travels throughout the country. By chance, Ji Won meets Pil Yong and they do not get along with each other. She learns that Pil Yong plans to restore a copy of the annals of the Joseon Dynasty using hanji of a traditional kind. Ji Won joins Pil Yong.

Pil Yong becomes obsessed with his project. A strange mood starts to brew between Pil Yong and Ji Won. Hyo Kyung notices the change in her husband. Also, the project is on the verge of collapsing.

Koji Wakamatsu, who in the past has directed such pungently titled exploitation flicks as Go Go Be a Virgin a Second Time and Violated Women in White, spins this biopic about jazz saxophonist Kaoru Abe (Kou Machida) and his wife, noted writer Izumi Suzuki (Reona Hirota). A sort of Sid and Nancy for the free-jazz set, the film opens with Suzuki dialing a wrong number and getting Abe. Instead of hanging up, he asks her out on a date and soon the two are shacked up and living together. Sex, drugs and Ornette Coleman feature prominently in the early phase of their relationship, and soon they realize that they are in fact soulmates. Abe is a romantic artist as well as a self-destructive, self-absorbed manchild prone to angry tirades and epileptic seizures. In turn, Izumi is first presented as a bubble-headed hippie chick who goes through men like tissues, but as her relationship with Abe deepens into marriage and motherhood, Izumi reveals a steel will and pragmatism, refusing to sacrifice herself to Abe's muse. Their tempestuous relationship grows increasingly destructive. A drama about a high school student who gets diagnosed with leukemia. He wants to have his first kiss before he dies, so he asks his best friends to find a girl who will kiss him before he dies.

Two former high school friends Patty and Cocoy find each other thirty years later not only as organizers of their high school reunion but also as neighbors. Patty and her daughter Yanni's quiet lives are shaken up when Cocoy and his nephew Jason comes knocking on their door.

Strange cases of resurrections start occurring in a small isolated village, people being dead for days or decades, suddenly coming back to their families. The Ministry of Health decides to send a team to investigate the case, among whom is Heita, who was born in the region. He meets with Aoi, a childhood friend who was engaged to his best friend before this one died. Heita tries to understand what's happening in the village while Aoi hopes that her fiancée will also return.

The novel tells the tales of four women, working the graveyard shift at a Japanese bento factory. All four women live hard lives. Masako, accepted as the leader of the four women, feels completely alienated from her estranged husband and teenage son. Kuniko, a plump and rather vain girl, has recently been ditched by her boyfriend after the couple were driven into debt leaving Kuniko to fend off a loan shark. Yoshie is a single mother and reluctant caretaker of her mother-in-law, who was left partly paralyzed after a stroke. Yayoi is a thirty-four-year old mother of two small boys. She hates to leave her children home alone to go to work. More than that, she hates the thought of her drunken, gambling husband returning home and hurting them or, more likely, herself. Returning home one night, Yayoi discovers her husband has gambled away all their savings and loses control of her temper. She strangles him to death.
