"Hot Young Bloods" is set within the early 1980's in Heongseong, South Korea. The movie depicts the rivalries, friendships and secret crushes held by students at a high school in Heongseong. Young-Sook (Park Bo-Young) is the feared leader of a female gang at the high school. Although she is known for her toughness, she has a secret crush on Joong-Gil (Lee Jong-Suk). Meanwhile, Joong-Gil is the school's playboy. He attempts to woo all the girls at his high school except for Young-Sook. That's because Gwang-Sik (Kim Young-Kwang), the feared leader of a rival school's male gang, views Young-Sook as his woman. Hyakkaou Private Academy is a prestigious institution for the privileged, which was first established 122 years ago. The students there are ranked by their gambling winnings. The winners receive everything including fame and fortune. The winners also dominates the losers. One day, female transfer student Yumeko Jabami (Minami Hamabe) arrives at Hyakkaou Private Academy. Yumeko Jabami has a pretty appearance, but she is a gambling maniac who loves high stakes.

When we last saw Gye Doo-Shik in the 2001 Korean gangster comedy My Boss My Hero, he was a second-in-command gangster who was forced by his boss to get a high school diploma in order to move up the mob ladder. There, he was subjected to bullies, rival gangs, and various forms of corporal punishment. The film became a mega-hit and was etched forever into Korean pop culture history as a leading example of South Korea's popular gangster comedy genre. Five years later, Doo-Shik and company return for more of the same in the sequel My Boss, My Student. This time, there's more of everything -- a larger cast, more subplots, more violence, more gangsters, etc. Even the screen is wider. The result is a true blockbuster that brought twice the box office gross of its predecessor (as of now, it is the second highest-grossing Korean film of 2006).

"Futago" tells the eerie story of the happenings in a cheap hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Among the various guests that stay at this tacky hostel are, Dragon who runs a shoddy modeling agency, Suzie the hooker, Kwong who pirates X-rated video CD and the ruthless Tony who is a drug dealer. Uchida Asa is a Japanese girl who comes to Hong Kong in pursue of her career in the show business. She bumps into Dragon who fakes his care about her and takes her in in the hostel. Uchida Asa is, of course, deceived and ripped off by Dragon and eventually ill-fatedly killed by Tony in a mishap. Guests in the hotel are aware of the incident but take no action. They start to feel uneasy when Uchida Mio, twin sister of Asa, appears to look for her sister. This is also when the guest of this cursed hostel starts to die one by one mysteriously. The strangest thing above all is, when the police starts investigate, it happens that Asa does not have a twin sister......
