Aruo, the dragon girl from the East China Sea, is determined to find her beloved, and comes to the mortal Wang Sheng at all costs. However, the fox demon Xiaoman wants to get the most precious spiritual leaf from the dragon girl, and designs to break Wang Sheng's heart. Aruo has no choice but to use Lingye made up for Wang Sheng's heart, so the two women started a "heart-stealing" contest with Wang Sheng as the center.

When the world is hit with a naturally occuring virus that spreads among all living things, humans begin to turn into insatiable zombies. In a blink, the world as we know it collapses. Furthermore, the few remaining survivors are unable to use the available food resources. They therefore develop a new crop to support themselves. Survivors depend on one profession, their only hope; someone in this profession must brave the dangers to send and recieve food and packages of necessities. These people are called Riders.

45-year-old nurse and mother Yoko lives with her only daughter Tsukiko. The duo has a tight relationship that resembles more best friends rather than mother & daughter. Tsukiko's father passed away before she was born & since that time Yoko has always stated Tsukiko's father would be the first and last man she will marry.

One evening, Yoko, who is drunk, brings home 30 year old Kenji Hattori and they both sleep outside on the porch. The next morning, Tsukiko becomes confused by the situation and becomes even confused when her mother announces that she will marry the much younger Kenji Hattori.

Set within music field, "Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru" depicts a love story between a 25-year-old sound engineer and 16-year-old high school student Riko, who posessess a gifted voice. 25-year-old sound engineer Aki (Takeru Sato) is a member of popular band "Crude Play," but right after the band decides to make their major record debut Aki quits the band. But, Aki provides his music to Crude Play under the name of producer Soichiro. Aki begins to date Riko (Sakurako Ohara), whose father runs a fruit and vegetable shop. Riko doesn't know about Aki's background, but she likes to listen to him hum. Riko is in a band herself, with childhood friend Yuichi and Sota. One day she is scouted by producer Soichiro.

Just before dawn, gruesomely skeletal bodies surface on the Han River. More bodies are discovered all over the nation. The cause of death is determined to be a mutated parasite worm that brainwashes its hosts, ultimately making them jump into bodies of water and to their death. Further research indicates that the worms have only a short incubation period and carry a 100% fatality rate, causing a mass general panic.

As the number of victims rapidly increases, the government sets up an Emergency Response Task Force and puts all infected citizens into quarantine. But gone insane under the influence of the parasite, the infected people penetrate the quarantine area and jump into the water to their death. Meanwhile, pharmaceutical company salesman Jae Hyuk realizes that his family is infected, and becomes desperate to find the cure. In doing so, he uncovers a frightening conspiracy behind the infection.

In the wilderness, lies an isolated inn. A number of dry male corpses were found there, and it was found out to belong to the citizens of Jin Ning City. Rumor said that it was the doing of a female demon. Demon catcher Gu Shijie sets out to find the true culprit. Within the town of Jin Ning City, there were two equally beautiful daughters within Officer Shi's family. Lian Cheng and her cousin, Bin Niang, had a close relationship, until they fell in love with the same man, Qiao Sheng. Trouble continues to brew when playboy Wang Huacheng fell in love with Lian Cheng and tries to marry her. Meanwhile, Bin Niang goes all out and seduce Qiao Sheng. While Qiao Sheng remains indifferent to such fiery temptation, Gu Shijie who appears cold-hearted begins to fall for it. As new grudges and former vengeance continue to surface in Jin Ning City, Lian Cheng and Qiao Sheng must work together to overcome a greater conspiracy waiting for them.

Detective Squad Chief Choi (Son Hyun-Joo) is set for a promotion. He has a party with his co-workers to celebrate, but, on the way home, a crime occurs and he accidentally commits murder. Because of his promotion, he decides to cover up the crime. The next morning, TV news reveals a body is hanging from a crane at a construction site. Choi is shocked because the body hanging is the person he killed last night. He takes charge of the murder investigation.
