The drama depicts Kim Min Jae, a transfer student majoring in Practical Music and working part-time at the library, and Lee Kyu Ho, a Taekwondo major who helped him. Since their first meeting, the two have become entangled and closer, leading them to develop a romantic relationship.

7 huge holes suddenly appear in locations around Japan. The holes appear in random places like in the sky, in the middle of a road, in a field, or in the middle of the city. Citizens are confused about the holes, and different investigations are carried out about the holes, but the true nature of the holes remains known. As time goes by, people begin to live with these holes. Many people go into the holes, but nobody has returned from the holes.

Then, a man named Ozawa appears who worships the holes as a god. He insists that salvation can be found in the hole. Eight people who are followers of Ozawa gather at a resort facility. The eight people are Kawabata, Sugaya, Matsuoka, Aoyama, Watanabe, Shingo, Iguchi, and Okamoto. Following Ozawa's rule, they must talk about why they want to go and record themselves before they enter the hole.

Neo is a stripper who is running away from the loan shark Thana and his gang, after having an affair with Thana's wife Vanika. One day, the criminals find him in the bar where he works. In attempting to escape, he ends up bumping into two people who will change his life: Shin, a gay boy, the son of Thana, who is frustrated at being rejected by a friend; and Mew, the manager of a gogo bar who is running away from her past. Accidentally, they end up killing one of the gang members who was chasing Neo, which makes them enemies of the gang. Now all three need to find a solution to escape from this situation together, while at the same time managing the physical and sentimental attraction that arises between them.

It's a 13-episode CTS adaptation of a Japanese manga called Gangster Patisserie. The adaptation will involve a female Japanese college student who runs away to Taiwan and gets involved with a reformed young hoodlum who just got out of jail after five years. Turns out his old gangster boss lost his wife to an illness and has decided to turn over a new leaf and become a legit businessman by starting a bakery that employs all his former gang members. His beloved deceased wife's daughter from her previous marriage is the Japanese girl and she arrives in Taiwan looking for her mom, and ends up living with her step father, who dreams of being a master baker but sucks big time at baking. The entire gang of misfits all live and work together, and heartwarming hilarity ensues.

Mizuki is a marathon runner forced to hang up her running shoes and find a job in the “real world.” She's been laser-focused on running her whole life and developed very little in the way of social skills, totally neglecting any thoughts of a love life. Her love for sweet food is the only thing that brings her joy.

When Mizuki takes a job at a high-end hotel, she turns out to be hopeless at it. With no experience or natural talent for customer service, she makes gaffe after gaffe. One day, she crosses paths with Kaji, a genius pâtissière who works at the hotel and has a reputation as a womanizer. Infuriated at how badly her post-running life is turning out, Mizuki vents at Kaji. Iinstead of angering him, her tirade inspires Kaji, who appoints her as his new taste taster.

Hanzawa Naoki works for Tokyo Chuo Bank as the head of the Loans Division at their Osaka Nishi branch. The overbearing branch manager, Asano, forces him to award an unsecured loan of 500 million yen to Nishi Osaka Steel. On the surface, Nishi Osaka Steel seems like a very reputable company, but in actual fact it is a company in deep trouble. Debt-ridden, the company accountants resort to window-dressing the financial statements in order to hide the truth from the public. Three months after the loan, Nishi Osaka Steel goes bankrupt and the ambitious and power-hungry Asano makes Hanzawa the scapegoat for the 500 million loss. Hanzawa is called to Tokyo to answer to the internal investigations team, where he vehemently denies responsibility for the loss, and swears to recover the 500 million yen. That is the only course of action for Hanzawa, if he wants to survive in the banking industry.

30-year-old Kamata Rinko is single and a struggling scriptwriter. She has no boyfriend and keeps having night outs at drinking spots with her girlfriends Kaori and Koyuki. “If I become beautiful, a better guy will appear!” “If we grow to like each other, we can get married!” They will not stop talking about these hypothetical questions. Then a younger, handsome, golden-haired guy suddenly utters, “These “what if” women!” and the trio have to face the harsh reality that they are no longer girls. Rinko enters her 30s while still immature, seeking happiness and struggling with romance and work.

In order to find her lost husband He Wuzhou (Fu Tianjiao), the 31-year-old Xia Bailu (Cao Xiwen) brought her 5-year-old son, He Tongtong (Sun Qichao), with her to Beijing. Because of the house she rented, she met tutor Du Fenfang (Liu Chengxia), and because of her part time job, she met An Heping (Wang Lan), who is pregnant with a daughter. An Heping is He Wuzhou's ex-wife, and Du Fenfang's husband is the one who denounced He Wuzhou for embezzlement. At the clothing wholesale market, Xia Bailu met a foe who soon became her friend. During her studying process, she was met with unexpected feelings. Right as she was able to start making a living in Beijing, He Wuzhou's surprise appearance revealed many secrets one by one. He Wuzhou, who is addicted to gambling, committed all kinds of crimes, putting three families in crises. The tough Xia Bailu wasn't defeated by life, and her spirit moved everybody. Mayumi Sato (Miki Nakatani) has been married for 13 years to Hideaki (Hiroshi Tamaki). They have one daughter who attends a private middle school. She has a hard time managing the family's budget due to her daughter's tuition fee and other expenses. She then makes the decision to work again for the first time in many years. Hideaki doesn't take the family's tight budget as seriously and he is uncooperative about doing housework. Mayumi is not happy with Hideaki’s attitude. Around this time, Taro Nasuda (Yusuke Santamaria) and his wife Ayako (Tae Kimura) visits a model house by a housing company where Hideaki works. Hideaki becomes attracted to Ayako.

Kim Soo-Young is a newly elected member of the national assembly. He is a member of the conservative New Korea Party. Prior to his election, Kim Soo-Young worked as a judge, but became pressured by higher ups and decided to enter the political world. Now, Kim Soo-Young becomes involved in a tangled situation with national assembly member No Min-Young, who entered the political world after her sister's death. No Min-Young's sister was a presidential candidate. No Min-Young is also a member of the Progressive Labor Party, who only has two members in the national assembly. Kim Soo-Young and No Min-Young then begin to have romantic feelings for each other.
