Yuri Kashiwaga was once known as a genius pianist. One day, she returns to her hometown in Goto Islands from Tokyo. There, she begins to work as a temporary teacher at a middle school and advisor for the school chorus. The chorus aims to take part at a competition. Yuri gives the members of the chorus members an assignment. She instructs them to write a letter with the title of “To myself 15 years later.” The 15-year-old boys and girls write about their secrets and worries.

"Regarding the images, it included heavily violent content throughout the whole film", said an official from KMRB, explaining the R-rating and why they prohibit people under 18 from seeing the movie.

The film tells the story of two fashionable girls born in the 1990s who get to know each other through renting an apartment together. Their relationship transforms from that of enemies to best friends.

Sanae goes to prison after she fails in an attempt to murder her boyfriend. Six years later, she meets and marries Kenta, a forestry worker. Their marriage takes a new turn when the wife of Sanae’s ex-boyfriend shows up at the door. Sanae hasn’t gotten over her ex-boyfriend, and Kenta finds it hard to deal with her.

Due to his rebellious nature, LUOFEI suffered a traumatic childhood with abuse and maltreatment from his bad-tempered but famous sculptor father LUOCHEN. Apart from receiving corporal punishment and verbal abuses, he was often locked up inside the wardrobe. The dark childhood turned LUOFEI into a weirdo frequently tormented by the pain of childhood memories as well as hallucination of his dead father.

LUOFEI betrayed his father's artistic career and chose to become a magician and performer of extremities instead to prove his own capabilities. During one of his death-defying show, LUOFEI was seriously wounded by shocks of his childhood nightmares.
