The story centers on Takako, a beautiful and professionally successful woman who has recently ended a very serious romance, and has burned out on seeking love. However, when Takako realizes that she is already in her 30s, she suddenly decides to get married, and begins registering on dating sites.

Boss lives a seemingly charmed life as a popular bartender in New York City, with an endless line of female customers after hours.
