Song Ki Baek is single and 33 years old. He works as an announcer at a broadcasting station. People consider him an ideal announcer. He is polite and well-mannered. One day, Song Ki Baek suffers from a disease which causes him to speak without thinking first. He now faces the biggest crisis of his life.

Yano Katsuhiko, a weather forecaster who is divorced and is introduced by his friend, Taguchi to popular radio DJ Yukawa Sachi aka "Love Specialist". Yano recalled seeing pictures of her before but the person he actually saw is Sachi's friend, Yujin.

Shomuni is a comedic TV drama serial based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Gumi Yasuda. The stories revolve around the Office Ladies of General Affairs department 2 (Shomu ni, or GA-2) in a large multinational company called Manpan Corporation. GA-2 is called "the graveyard for female office ladies", simply because it is the place where female employees are dumped should they mess up big time elsewhere. Jobs include replacing used toilet rolls, changing light-bulbs, organizing company outings, among other menial stuff. As an added incentive, their department is located in the nether regions of the company - in the basement, and is in fact a disused store room. However, it is these Office Ladies who always seem to solve the problem, and have created a niche for themselves within the company. This is one of those rare TV series that spawned follow ups the following seasons.

Three years ago, Narumi Hikaru and Suga Mizuho were in love and would meet in secret for several months in the second year of high school. It started casually and ended casually. Hikaru and Mizuho were alike in their inabilities to grasp their distance from others or to be interested in another person; poor at the way they get involved with other people. The two of them should not have met again, but the news of the sudden death of a high school classmate Origuchi Haruka from cancer brings them together again. Mizuho undertakes the search for the unknown boyfriend from high school to fulfil the wishes of the Haruka’s mother, who believes that she is her daughter’s good friend. Hikaru and Mizuho are now university students, and changes have come upon their relationship. When world peace is threatened by the emergence of an international secret society of evil called the "Black Cross Army/Black Crusaders" (黒十字軍 Kuro Jūjigun), the United Nations sets up an international peace organization called "EAGLE" (EArth Guard LEague) (国際的平和組織イーグル Kokusaiteki Heiwa Soushiki Īguru) to combat the threat. This special army is distributed to various parts of the world (designated as "Blocks"). One of the largest "Blocks" is Japan. The "Black Cross Army/Black Crusaders", fearful of this united threat against them, decides to launch a surprise attack against the Japan EAGLE Block and sends five of its most dangerous cyborg operatives to attack Japan's various EAGLE branches. Across Japan the Black Cross Army decimates its targets, killing all those who oppose them. Yet from the ashes of these destroyed bases, five young recruits miraculously survive and vow vengeance. Given a special interlocking "key", the various survivors are summoned to snackshop "Gon", secret gateway to EAGLE Japan's main command center by Japan's EAGLE Commander Edogawa Gonpachi. There they are given special formfitting electronic battlesuits, which empower its wearer with various superhuman abilities. Edogawa tells them that they are the Secret Squadron "Gorenger", the world's best chance against the forces of the Black Cross Army. Armed with these battlesuits and other special weapons created by EAGLE scientists, they exact their revenge upon the Black Crusaders who killed their comrades and dedicate themselves to crushing the remaining forces of the Black Cross Army and its sinister leader, Black Cross Führer.

The storyline begins in the near future, as referenced from the mid-1960s. Sinister aliens and giant monsters constantly threaten civilization during this period. The only Earth organization equipped to handle these disasters is the Science Special Search Party, or SSSP, a special worldwide police force equipped with high-tech weapons and vehicles, as well as extensive scientific and engineering facilities; this organization is called the Science Patrol. The branch of the Science Patrol that is focused on in the series is located in Tokyo, Japan. Led by Captain "Cap" Toshio Muramatsu, the Science Patrol is always ready to protect the Earth from rampaging monsters, but sometimes it finds itself outclassed. When the situation becomes desperate, Shin Hayata, the Patrol's most capable member, holds the key to salvation in the form of the "Beta Capsule," which, when activated, allows him to transform secretly into the super-humanoid-powered giant from space, who becomes known to the people of Earth as Ultraman.

The New Generation Ultras team up to fight the League of Darkness, an evil organization made up of a selection of foes previously fought by the Ultras, along with X Darkness and Geed Darkness, two new evil Ultras allied with the League.
