Fire Captain Yohei (Toshio Kakei) decides to place Akira with a emergency medical services team. The emergency medical service team is always busy, but not always for emergency situations. One day, Akira and the medical services team go out to a car accident scene. A child there is having a cardiopulmonary arrest. The captain of the team, Kaede (Norika Fujiwara), instructs Akira to save the child. Akira applies first aid and the child's condition improves. For the first time in his life, Akira saves someone's life.
