When the world is hit with a naturally occuring virus that spreads among all living things, humans begin to turn into insatiable zombies. In a blink, the world as we know it collapses. Furthermore, the few remaining survivors are unable to use the available food resources. They therefore develop a new crop to support themselves. Survivors depend on one profession, their only hope; someone in this profession must brave the dangers to send and recieve food and packages of necessities. These people are called Riders.

Saeba Ryo is a "sweeper" in the city of Tokyo. He works as a trouble shooter, cleaning the streets of vermin, and helping out desperate people. Sometimes he's a bodyguard, sometimes he's an assassin, whatever Ryo does he does it well. In fact, his only flaw is his hormones - he loves the ladies and sometimes turns into an idiot when he's near them. Thankfully he's got people like his partner Kaori Makimura to keep him in check.

After suffering from serial paranormal events, a wealthy family living in LA summons a young rising shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to save the newborn of the family. Once they arrive, Hwa Rim senses a dark shadow of their ancestor has latched on the family in a so-called 'Grave Calling'.

In order to exhume the grave and relieve the ancestor, Hwa Rim seeks help from top-notch geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun. To their dismay, the four find the grave at a shady location in a remote village in Korea. Unaware of the consequences, the exhumation is carried out, unleashing a malevolent force buried underneath.

Mizushima Satoru decides to propose her, but, on the day he is going to propose her, Miharu Miyuki doesn’t show up at the cafe.

In 1995, Lee Ja Young, Jung Yoo Na, and Sim Bo Ram are friends and co-workers at Samjin Company. They have been working there for 8 years. They are good at their work, but, because of their high school only educational backgrounds, they are still at the bottom of the company. One day, the company announces that any employee that attains a score of 600 or higher on the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) exam will receive a promotion to assistant manager. Employees who rank at the bottom of the company attend a Samjin Co. English Class in hopes of receiving the promotion. They dream of doing real work, rather than making coffee, cleaning up and running to make copies. Lee Ja Young, Jung Yoo Na and Sim Bo Ram attend the Samjin Co. English Class and study hard for the TOEIC exam. Meanwhile, Lee Ja Young notices wastewater discharge from a Samjin factory affecting the environment. She tries to make a report to the company, but the company ignores her. Lee Ja Young, Jung Yoo Na and Sim Bo Ram struggle to expose corruption inside their company.

Kiyo (Nanako Matsushima) is a female school student in Saga Prefecture, Japan. She admires nurses and wants to be helpful to her nation. Kiyo decides to become a war nurse. She undergoes strict training and finally graduates from nursing school. Kiyo then gets her draft notice and leaves for Manchuria, China. Everyday, she takes care of injured soldiers. A Japanese immigrant in Manchuria, Wataru (Hidetoshi Nishijima), brings two injured people to her. One person is Hikaru (Hidekazu Akai) and the other injured person is a native Chinese person named Son (Yuta Kashikura). Kiyo persuades Army Surgeon Hideyo (Tsurube Shofukutei) to treat Son and he does so in secret. Lieutenant Colonel Kisuke (Satoshi Hashimoto) soon discovers about the treatment.

When a user types the name of a person to be gotten rid of, a hell girl Ai Enma brings the person to the hell. In return, the user will be sent down to hell at the end of his or her life. A high school girl Miho is worried about her friend Haruka being trapped in the evil scheme of a popular rock band after Haruka joins the audition and starts acting strange. As Miho tries to help her friend, she finds herself in the cursed world behind the "Hell Correspondence".
