Park Do Ra is a bright, brave woman with a challenging personality who became a top actress because her mother, Baek Mi Ja, said it was the only way to escape poverty. After earning fame and fortune as a top star, all Do Ra wants to do is rest and enjoy her riches, but her mother keeps causing trouble. Mi Ja always adorns herself in luxury, even more than any top star, thanks to Do Ra's success. However, Mi Ja wants more. Do Ra can't handle her tight schedule due to Mi Ja's desires and wants to quit her new drama "Straightforward Romance," but she can't because she met her first love, Go Pil Sung, the assistant director.

A strict but loving grandma solves a myriad of issues for the people around her!

Doumeki Miki lives in a small rural village surrounded by abundant nature and beautiful scenery. After becoming a widow at an early age, she’s spent many years working as a leader in her village. A beautiful, intelligent woman in her 70s, she’s incredibly spry, with perfect posture.

Whenever a problem arises, her neighbors all rush to Miki for advice.

When faced with two bickering villagers:

“Your plum tree is ruining my view!”

“Well, your cherry blossom tree is an eyesore, too!” Miki’s response is simple.

“Then, I’ll cut down both of your trees!” Strangely enough, after being reminded of how joyful it is to watch the seasons change through the blossoming of different trees, both neighbors cease their arguing and calm down.

One spring, Miki’s son moves himself and his family back to the village after living in the city and she comes face to face with her 6 year old granddaughter, Ako. Despite Miki’s severe personality and intimidating presence, the little girl seems intent on befriending her...

Drama series depicts the life of Ieyasu Tokugawa (January 31, 1543 - June 1, 1616).

Takechiyo (later becomes Tokugawa Ieyasu) was born as the son of a poor and powerless daimyo. Takechiyo lost his father during a war. He grew up lonely and away from his mother. Takechiyo didn't have a clue about what his future would hold. He then has a dramatic meeting with young Oda Nobunaga.

Rinka Umezawa is a housewife who pursues things that will bring her small happiness in life. Her husband Masabumi holds a stern belief that he will support his wife Rinka. The couple do not have children.

Rinka begins to work part-time at a bank. She visits her clients' homes. Sometimes, she even helps her elderly clients' with their house chores. This builds a strong level of trust with her clients.

One day, she visits client Kojo Hirabayashi's. At his home, she meets his grandchil Kota who came to ask for money. Her encounter with Kota changes her. Soon, Rinka embezzles one hundred million yen from her bank and runs away.

Two years later, Rinka's former high school friends Yuko Okazaki and Aki Nakaji trace her embezzlement case and face their own darkness.
